Zaima Rahman Appointed Legal Officer at UN General Assembly President’s Office
Zaima Rahman, daughter of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, has been appointed as a legal officer in the office of Khalilur Rahman, president of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In this role, she will handle legal matters for the office.
According to information published on the office’s website, 40 people are serving in different positions. Six of them, including Zaima Rahman, are Bangladeshi.
Zaima is the only daughter of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Dr Zubaida Rahman.
She is also the granddaughter of former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia.
