The Hour Today is seeking an experienced Senior Reporter to cover national politics and upcoming elections. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, investigative reporting that sets the agenda for the day.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth interviews with government officials, politicians, and civil society leaders.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging news stories under tight deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a network of sources across the political spectrum.
- Collaborate with the data journalism team to analyze election trends and policy data.
- Provide live updates and breaking news coverage during major events.
- Fact-check and verify information to ensure the highest standards of accuracy.
Requirements
EducationMaster's in Journalism or a related field.
Experience5+ years in investigative reporting or political journalism.
SkillsExcellent writing and interviewing skills, ability to work under pressure, strong analytical mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience covering national elections and political campaigns.
- Fluency in Bengali (written and spoken) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with digital media platforms and social media trends.
- Ability to travel occasionally for reporting assignments.
