Bodies of Three People Recovered in Kushtia and Naogaon
Police have recovered the bodies of a young man with a mental disability and an unidentified woman from separate water bodies in Bheramara, Kushtia. In another incident, the body of a businessman was recovered from a pond in Niamatpur, Naogaon.
At around 11 am on Tuesday (September 22), local residents saw the woman’s body floating in a fish-farming canal beside the railway line in Chandgram and informed police.
A team from Bheramara Police Station arrived at the scene and recovered the body at around noon. The woman’s identity has not yet been confirmed.
Later that afternoon, residents found the body of Jihad floating in a small pond in Jamalpur village. Jihad, the son of Hasan Maker from Karigar Para, had been missing since Monday.
Meanwhile, police recovered the body of a scrap dealer from a pond east of Chhatra cattle market in Niamatpur, Naogaon, on Tuesday afternoon.
The businessman was identified as Mohidul, 45, a resident of Chhatra Nistani village. He had been missing since Monday evening.
