Our reporting is independent of commercial and political interest. Advertising is clearly labelled and never influences what we cover.

Sourcing

We name sources wherever it is safe to do so. Anonymity is granted only when a source faces real risk, and only with an editor's approval.

Moderation

Reader comments are pre-moderated. We remove personal attacks, hate speech, spam and material that could identify a victim of crime.
