Justice Md. Habibul Gani has been sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court’s Appellate Division.
Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury administered the oath at the Supreme Court’s Judges’ Lounge on Sunday morning (August 30).
The ceremony, conducted by Supreme Court Registrar General Muhammad Habibur Rahman Siddiqui, was attended by judges of both the Appellate Division and the High Court Division.
Earlier, the President appointed Justice Gani, who was serving in the Supreme Court’s High Court Division, as a judge of the Appellate Division under Article 95(1) of the Constitution.
