US President Donald Trump has announced that CNN, MS NOW and Politico will be barred from the White House, accusing the three news organisations of spreading “fake news.”

Trump announced the decision on his social media platform on Friday and said the ban would take effect immediately.

He also indicated that similar restrictions could be imposed on several other news outlets in the future.

Trump claimed that the three organisations regularly published false reports about his administration, saying this was the reason their White House access had been revoked.
