Gold Price Drops by 1,691 Taka per Bhori

Gold prices have fallen in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price by 1,691 taka per bhori, bringing the price of the highest-quality gold to 232,930 taka per bhori.Jewellery traders said the price cut was announced on Saturday morning (September 26). The new price took effect at 10:00 am.
Under the revised rates, the price of 22-carat gold, including VAT, has been reduced by 1,691 taka to 232,930 taka per bhori.
Gold prices have now been adjusted 117 times in the country this year. Prices were increased 58 times and reduced 59 times.
