Four Directors, Four Stories in Lust Stories 3

The newly released trailer offers glimpses of four different stories directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj.

The cast includes Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, Ali Fazal, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Gurfateh Pirzada and Sana Thampi.

The trailer opens with Aditi Rao Hydari’s character speaking about female desire, suggesting that women’s feelings and choices will receive special attention. Her story with Siddharth focuses on problems within a marriage.

Ali Fazal and Radhika Madan play a couple whose relationship is close to breaking down. Konkona Sen Sharma and Radhika Apte portray two colleagues whose conversations and advice about relationships create several humorous moments.

Gurfateh Pirzada and Sana Thampi’s characters are shown beginning a new romance. Vijay Varma and Abhishek Banerjee also appear in the trailer, which ends with a reference to a popular meme involving Akshay Kumar.

Each director explores a different theme. Motwane focuses on an unexpected attraction entering a familiar life. Rao examines curiosity born from attraction and the consequences of personal choices. Batra explores the complex connections between love, insecurity, desire and disappointment, while Bhardwaj’s story deals with desire, imagination, identity and the courage to speak up.

The *Lust Stories* franchise began in 2018, followed by its second instalment in 2023. The third instalment will explore marital conflict, new love, identity and unspoken emotions.

*Lust Stories 3* will be available exclusively on Netflix from Friday, September 18.
