Dismembered Body of Woman Recovered from Canal in Dhaka’s Adabor

Police have recovered the dismembered remains of an unidentified woman from a bag in Dhaka’s Adabor area. Her head, both hands, and other body parts were found inside the bag.

The bag was recovered on Saturday afternoon (September 12) from a waste-filled canal near Hakkarpar at Balur Math in Adabor-10.

Passersby became suspicious after noticing the bag near the canal. When local residents pulled it closer, they discovered human remains inside and informed police.

Police suspect that the woman was killed and her body was dismembered before the remains were placed in the bag and left beside the canal. Officers are working to identify the victim and determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
